Reflective Commentary- Sustainable Style Guide Twine can be used in multiple ways to convey multiple messages. Foremost, the website can be used to create games with different playable pathways for users; examples of this include the ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’ games. As well as this, Twine can be used to convey topical information in digestible amounts. Regardless of the purpose, Twine serves as an engaging way to interact with users. For my Twine story, I wanted to highlight the importance of extending the life of the clothes you already own to avoid overconsumption of fashion. I tried to make my story accessible by using 3 ‘typical’ items of clothing that people already own, as well as categorising outfits using these items under common activities. A major creative decision of mine was to include examples of influencers that are fashion forward and often advocated for sustainable fashion.
